The NEW Laguna Reef Restaurant opened in February 2025 and is located on 1455 Waldron Rd. Corpus Christi, TX 78418.  The previous Laguna Reef Restaurant was located on the water on Laguna Shores Drive until 2018 and owned by Danglade Foods, Inc.

Mr. Danglade, a local Flour Bluff native and restauranteur for 40+ years, built and owns the NEW Laguna Reef. The NEW Reef offers the same great freshest seafood, pasta, chicken, burgers and steaks menu, along with new favorites like crab balls and lobster appetizers and sides like handmade potato salad, okra, coleslaw, veggies and salads.  The fish, oyster and shrimp entrees are grilled, fried, blackened with exceptional seasonings. Dessert includes Key Lime Pie, Cheesecakes and more.

The FRESH jumbo shrimp, flounder and Mahi Mahi entrees are favorites with guests! The Reef also will “Cook Your Catch” every day.  Just bring your catch to one of our chefs and we will cook and serve it to you as enjoy our dining room and full bar or take out is also available.

Our FULL bar includes Mai Tais, coladas, several specialty drinks, premium whiskies, domestic and imported beers. Happy Hour is Monday – Friday 2-6PM with drink and appetizer specials.

The Reef offers a Kid’s Menu for the little tykes with popcorn shrimp, sliders, chicken tenders, mac ‘n’ cheese and more. 

For lunch or dinner, 7 days a week, the New Laguna Reef is affordable from 11am to 9pm daily, Saturday 11am -10pm, and Sunday 11am -3pm.  

We offer a special take-out menu from the Reef, along with Door Dash and Uber Eats service.
